Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Palmeiras midfielder Luis Pacheco as they continue to look for promising young talent.
The 18-year-old Brazilian has attracted interest from several clubs, with Chelsea monitoring his progress before deciding whether to make a move.
Pacheco is mainly a defensive midfielder but can also play further forward. He has already made appearances for Palmeiras’ first team, although he is still short of regular senior football.
The youngster signed a new contract with Palmeiras in 2025, with a release clause worth €100 million, around £86.5 million, for foreign clubs.
Despite that price tag, Chelsea are not expected to make a move before the end of the current transfer window. January is a more realistic time for the club to consider a deal.
Chelsea are expected to continue watching Pacheco over the coming months before making a final decision on whether to pursue the Brazilian prospect.
